NewFest - The NY LGBT Film Festival - is seeking volunteers!
This year's festival will take place June 3rd - 13th at the SVA Theater on W.23rd St between Eighth and Ninth Aves, as well as the JCC on the UWS and Harlem Stages.
Volunteer signup for 2010 is now open for: A SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR, LOUNGE MANAGER, and
PRODUCTION INTERNS. Job descriptions for these are available on the Volunteer Section of the Website.
With Marc Jacobs as our signature sponsor and our centerpiece film, the Sundance hailed Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, this will be our biggest year yet. Don't miss out on being part of the action!

The San Diego Asian Film Foundation is currently accepting Call for Entries Submissions for their 2010 Asian Film Festival, which will take place from October 21st-28th.

Early Deadline: April 30th
Final Deadline: June 11th

Urbanworld Film Festival, presented by BET Networks, is the leading showcase for urban, ethnic, and multicultural cinema. The NYC based festival runs from September 16-19, 2010. Prizes awarded in the following categories: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short & Screenplay.

INDEPENDENT FEATURE FILM MARKET

hi guys,

just got this via email. the ifp is one of the essential tri-state area organizations to be part of if you want to be an independent maker. they are now looking for interns!!! see below.

2) We are also looking for a few good men and women to be interns during our busiest season. We would like motivated, organized, and go-getting individuals to work for us in our various departments.

All positions are Part time, two to three days a week. This position is unpaid, but college credit, IFP membership and other benefits are available.
