The 11th annual Woodstock Film Festival(Sept 29-Oct 3, 2010) is currently accepting submissions in all categories. The Woodstock Film Festival is a uniquely intimate, casual and friendly event, where highly respected industry "movers and shakers" mingle freely with emerging filmmakers, providing excellent networking opportunities in a fun and stimulating environment. Honoring unique vision and quality, the Maverick Awards are presented for Best Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Student Film, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Animation. Cash, prizes and/or services valued at over $50,000 are given out. Audience Awards are presented for Best Feature and Best Documentary.

The Hamptons International Film Festival was founded to celebrate Independent film – long, short, fiction and documentary. The Festival, which serves as a qualifier for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for short films, continues to attract a prestigious local and international audience. Films in its 17th Edition received 17 Academy Award® nominations. With its signature Conflict & Resolution and Breakthrough Performers program, the event continues to be a highlight of the festival circuit.
